Mommy or Daddy?

So -- Who does Mr. Timothy look like? Below are pictures of Mark and I as babies... well Mark is a toddler but it's the best I could find. I picked the picture of me because my hair seemed pretty similar to Timothy's.... ha. I think he looks like his dad. Thoughts?

Daddy during his favorite time of year-- Christmas!

Ummm... nice hair mommy.

The little man... a blend of mommy and daddy or daddy's little boy?

2 Months

I've given up posting on many exciting past events (Hershey, more visitors, etc.). I mean I'll get there but not for some time. With that said, here's what is going on this week. This week Timothy had his 2 month appointment. He did very well. Here are his stats:

- Weight 11 lbs 13 oz. - 50th percentile
- Height 23 in. - 50th percentile

Mark and I both thought he would weigh in around the mid 12s for lbs. Oops. Guess we were both wrong. In addition to the all important weighing, etc he received 5 vaccinations -- 4 shots and 1 oral. He cried a bit but for the most part took 'em like a champ.

Below are some pictures of his 2 month photoshoot, first he was too tired then he was too cranky for this. Additionally there are some photos of his boos boos. The bandaids are as big as his thighs.. ha!

Delinquent Blogger

Just a quick note to apologize for sucking at blogging. See, this is why Mark was in charge of the blog because we all knew that I would not be able to keep up with it. My excuse for now, is that I was working on my thank you notes (which obviously are also delinquent). So apologies for the thank you notes as well. Please don't take it as a sign that I am not totally thankful to EVERYONE.. because I am! And if this apology is not enough ... above is a cute picture of my baby boy to win you over.

Visit from Grandma!

As noted, grandma came to visit and spend some quality time with Timothy. The last time grandma saw Timmy was when he was fresh out of the womb and in the hospital. When she came to visit for the week he had changed so much since then. Grandma was a big help watching Timothy while I got lots of little tasks accomplished -- laundry, straightening up my closet and Timothy's wardrobe, a few shopping trips, a doctor's appointment for me and my first attempt at walking on the treadmill.

Thank you so much grandma for all of your help. Timothy missed you terribly when you left and is looking forward to seeing you again soon!

Dad's First Business Trip

Around the same time Timothy turned one month and had his one month check up, Mark had to go on his first overnight business trip since the little man arrived. Mark was privileged enough to travel to the warm state of Minnesota. While there, he missed Timothy so much he had to purchase a few little tops for him while killing some time at the Mall of America. We all missed Mark while he was gone, but fortunately Grandma was visiting (more on this later) so we had plenty of help and a good distraction.

A few shots the night before dad left

Clearly Timothy already has dad wrapped around his finger

Delayed Post -- One Month Old

Still catching up on all the posts . . . sorry! Timothy turned one month on February 6th. Happy one month baby boy. He also had his one month check up and did very well at the doctor's office. He passed all the "tests" and only had to get one shot. I am somewhat dreading the next appointment because it will involve many more shots -- boo:(

Timothy's stats --- I hope he doesn't get my short gene.

Still looking pretty little -- although he seems to be growing so fast to me!

One month old picture -- looking a little like a deer caught in the headlights.

Bragging

Aren't blogs for bragging? So here goes -- Timothy rolled over from tummy to back! Several days before his month birthday we were hanging out at the house and doing some tummy time when Timothy decided to impress us all by rolling over. And he did it not once but twice. He kind of got stuck on his side but eventually figured it out. Other than myself there were two witnesses -- Mark and our friend Evan. I view Evan as a neutral third party so it is definitely legit.

Don't worry. I'm not that naive. I know this was just a fluke. Although...several days later we had his one month check up and while showing off his neck strength to the nurse practitioner he tried to roll over again. The nurse practitioner said/asked "He hasn't rolled over yet, has he?" I tried to discreetly respond that actually, yes, indeed he had... twice. Anyway, he hasn't done it since but we are still very proud of him and we expect great things from him... hee hee!

Of course we did not capture the moment. Who expects a less than one month old to roll over? ha ha .. I'll stop now. Below are just a few pictures taken when playing around on our activity mat on a different occasion.

Speaking of January 24th

Apologies for the duplicate reference to our anniversary but I thought it was only fair that I give Mark a shout out for being such a wonderful husband. January 24th was not only the birth of Noah but it was also Mark and I's second anniversary. Sadly I am a lame wife and was not up for much celebration -- we opted to postpone until February 24th (which is almost here!). Mark, however, did not let the day pass without letting me know how much he loved me and had two dozen beautiful roses sent to the house. I am so lucky to have such an amazing husband. Hard to believe 2 years have flown by already. Can't wait to see what the rest of our anniversaries bring. Love you dear!

Hershey Baby Bonanza Comes to an End

The birth of adorable Noah Kray brought an end to the Hershey baby bonanza. Noah was born on January 24th. He weighed in at 9 lbs 1 oz and was 21 inches long. Congratulations to Sandy (who amazingly gave birth with no pain meds!), Chadd and big sister Lyla. For those of you keeping track the 2010-2011 birth explosion of the Hershey High Class of '97 ends in a tie. 2 boys and 2 girls. Timothy and Noah versus Blake and Vivian. Everyone wins in the end though -- we were all blessed with a tiny perfect little one! Wish I had a picture of all 4 little ones together.
