Greetings from the Womb

Here are some long-awaited photos from the 20 week ultrasound. Baby B wasn't very cooperative and kept squirming around when the technician was trying to take photos and get measurements.

Maddie came to visit this past weekend and we all had a great time. I think she wants to be a dentist when she grows up.

Breaking Ground

So they finally broke ground on our new house. We will be sure to keep everyone updated on the progress. They are still waiting on the building permits from the county, but hopefully it will be ready for us to move in before Baby B's arrival in late December/early January.

Bye bye trees, but thankfully not all of them. A good chunk of our backyard is actually an environmentally-protected area.

Congratulations Allison and Tyler!!!

Our good friends Allison and Tyler got married a couple of weeks ago and we wanted to extend our congratulations and best wishes.

The ceremony was held on campus at W&L in the historic Lee Chapel.

Their first dance was an amazing shag number which required a dress change and included a showstopper ending.

First Purchase - Nursery Furniture

Sarah and I were inspired to start making some purchases after seeing Baby B during the 20-week ultrasound (photos coming soon) so we finally came to a decision on the nursery furniture. I sure hope Baby B likes it, because he/she is going to have it for awhile as it transitions into a toddler bed and then into a double bed.
