Under Roof

The weather in Richmond has been fantastic for building up until this past week when the rain finally showed up. Fortunately they had already finished the exterior framing and put some wood on the roof just before the rain started. Then there was one morning where it stopped long enough for them to add some roof paper to help keep the water out. Things are coming along, but it's going to be a close race to see which comes first, Baby B or Baby B's new house.

Happy Birthday Annie!!!

Can you believe it's been almost two years since Annie first came into our lives? She was rescued from the woods by Aunt Marilyn & Uncle Dick right around Thanksgiving 2008. When we took her to the vet they said she was around 8 weeks old, so we decided to make September 25th her official birthday. So how did we celebrate the big day... with cake of course!!!

Carrot cake, looks good enough to eat doesn't it?

Gotta give it the old smell test before chowing down.
